Welcome to the Polish Cultural Festival
We are extremely proud to be able to present to you a week-long celebration of Polish culture. From traditional folk music and dance, lectures by eminent historians, to retrospectives by the founding fathers of modern Polish cinema, through to theatre and visual art that speaks in the voice of young Poland – it's our chance to show you around a culture that's a vibrant part of Scotland today!
The Polish Cultural Festival in Edinburgh will be the biggest and one of the most important Polish cultural events taking place in Scotland next year. During the last week of April (20-26 April 2009) the city of Edinburgh will become the scene for a number of exciting events presenting the best of Polish culture.
It is our collective wish that the festival will allow our Scottish friends to gain a deeper understanding of who we are and for all of Edinburgh to unite in doing what it does better than anywhere – in raising a glass!
We still have some time to the festival, in the meantime we have uploaded our film, "Watching Poles", for you to watch and enjoy.
Polish Cultural Festival Association is a non profit organisation and the festival is almost entirely run and organised by volunteers.

Excellent idea!
I have made lots of Polish friends through clubbing in the city and I look forward to experiencing a bit more of their culture..
Fantastic video :D The soundtrack makes me want to book tickets for Orkiestra Sw. Mikolaja concert at The Queens Hall now!
Great video and looking forward to your event. I live in Edinburgh to hope to make most of it.
That is a great video. Such a great history between Scots and Polish anyway, it's not a surprise that there is such a kinship. I'm going to enjoy the festival very much and I hope many others do.
Excellent video clip.
